Political scientist, leader of the international Eurasian movement and editor-in-chief of the portal "Katehon" Alexander Dugin spoke about the Russian spring and the pressure of the West. He called the decision to recognize the independence of the Donbass republics the most important event in the history of recent decades. "Ukraine has chosen the wrong gentleman," the expert added.

n a conversation with Tsargrad, the political scientist recalled the Russian Spring and the process of liberating Novorossiya from the liberal-Nazi globalist occupation. The Russian Orthodox population of Ukraine remained under an illegal, criminal regime oriented towards the West and NATO countries. The Minsk agreements were a kind of compromise, but they were not implemented.

Many mourned the Russian spring, for which people paid with their lives, and many died. The people were in despair. The DPR and LPR tried to withstand the constant provocations of the Kiev junta and Western-backed punishers, the neo-Nazis of Ukraine,

The expert added that for these seven years Russia did not abandon Donbass, but did not save it either. And today something happened that changes everything. Russia is already acting as a mother to the Lugansk and Donetsk people's republics, accepting the civilian population fleeing from the cities and villages being shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Accepts people who want to live freely, independently and speak their native Russian language.

According to him, today is the day when the true logic of fate intersected with the routine events of our earthly world. The last time this happened was seven years ago, when Crimea was reunited with Russia and when Donbass declared its independence.

Many years have been spent on intermediate compromises, but now there is no other way out than the liberation of Novorossiya, the restart of the Ukrainian statehood, which turned out to be untenable.

Ukraine is a failed state. And they chose the wrong gentleman. We offered them fraternal friendship and we always offer it to our Ukrainian brothers. And they choose, as they have chosen more than once in history, to be lackeys of the West, in opposition to us. And every time they paid a huge price for it. Paying now.
